Want to screw rails diectly to timbers in order to mount Sunpreme Maxima GxB (QTY 9).
Want to put rails perpendicular to joists.
May recess rails into joists for a flush look.
Are there rails that I can screw directly into joists?
Any comments/ideas?

Hello. You could attach L feet into the tops of the joists, then attach the rails to the L feet. Since the joist is 3.5" wide, could you just attach the clamps directly to the joists and clamp the long edges of the modules? It looks like your module spacing is exactly the same as the joist spacing. See attached clamp drawing.
