Lindsay is originally from central Massachusetts and attended the University of Rhode Island. During her undergrad she participated in a fellowship program where she worked on the Rhode Island Public Energy Partnership and later co-authored the University's updated Climate Action Plan. Lindsay developed her passion for renewable energy during her participation on both projects. She built her foundation in solar in 2015 when she began working for a residential installer in RI as a site analyst.
At CivicSolar, Lindsay enjoys working on projects of all scale, but finds the most success in the commercial sector by understanding project restraints such as upstream technology changes and local policy updates and overcoming them to ensure a successful and efficient project cycle.
Working with The Worthmore Group on a project for students at a local high school to introduce them to the different career opportunities the solar industry has to offer with hands on experience. It was rewarding to see the student's excitement about bringing awareness to renewable energy and how this experience had an impact on their future education and career goals.
Rail-less racking! Not only will this technology create a sleek aesthetic on the roof, but it will also provide ease of installation and allow installers to crank out more jobs and get solar on the grid more quickly.
