    The sound coming from larger inverters is mainly caused by inductors and is a particularly annoying high-frequency hum - not unlike a group of cicadas (insects) make.

    Low wattage bulbs aren't necessary, but the lower the wattage, the smaller the PV system. There are lots of great outdoor low wattage lighting products.
