Sealed lead-acid batteries remain the most widely used (sealed) rechargeable battery in the world. Because water is not lost during the discharging and recharging processes, SLA batteries require virtually no maintenance and can be used in almost any position. SLAs are the least expensive rechargeable battery. This makes them best suited for applications such applications as electric wheelchairs and golf carts. SLAs have the lowest self-discharge rate of any rechargeable battery, only about 5% per month and do not suffer from memory effect. SLA batteries typically achieve a working lifetime of approximately 300 - 500 cycles, depending on the depth of cycling and the operating temperature. Interstate offers a 1-year warranty on all of their SLA batteries.

Merchandise Return Policy - No returns will be accepted without prior authorization and must include the Return Material Authorization (RMA) number in order to return product. Any product that is returned must be brand new, in perfect condition and packaged in the original manufacturer's packaging with all hardware and documentation. Returns must be shipped with prepaid freight and insured via the carrier of your choice within 30 days of delivery. Upon receiving an RMA number, the CivicSolar representative will provide full shipping instructions. Shipping charges will not be refunded, unless, an error was made by CivicSolar in shipping.
