Fronius Interface Box - 4,240,109

The Interface Box enables a user to output data into an open protocol for a system of anywhere between 1 and 100 FRONIUS IG Inverters. This data could then be used by third-party sources for different monitoring options (e.g. Fat Spaniel).

This Box does not replace the need for a Datalogger Box or Card. This interface
offers real-time open protocol data without data storage for up to 100 inverters and
10 sensor boxes.

The FRONIUS IG Interface Card/Box has a serial interface with an open data protocol that enables the latest PV data to be down loaded from the inverter and processed. This will have the following advantages:

  • Integration of system data in other IT systems (building control alarm systems, etc.)
  • Data transfer to PC for the other visualisation purposes (e.g. to include PV data on a homepage.
  • Interface to other data logging systems (e.g. Fat Spaniel).

Configuring the Interface Card/Box as a serial interface enables a PC or other device to be connected. As normal with FRONIUS IG DataCom components with all FRONIUS IG DataCom Components, power for the FRONIUS IG Interface Cad/Box is supplied by an inverter or a plug-in pack.

The new standard interface from Fronius is compatible with all FRONIUS IG inverters. The only prerequisite is that a Datalogger be present.

Merchandise Return Policy - No returns will be accepted without prior authorization and must include the Return Material Authorization (RMA) number in order to return product. Any product that is returned must be brand new, in perfect condition and packaged in the original manufacturer's packaging with all hardware and documentation. Returns must be shipped with prepaid freight and insured via the carrier of your choice within 30 days of delivery. Upon receiving an RMA number, the CivicSolar representative will provide full shipping instructions. Shipping charges will not be refunded, unless, an error was made by CivicSolar in shipping.
