Sonnen Systems Projekt gmbH is one of the world’s leading providers of dual-axis tracking photovoltaic systems.

With the aim of making maximum use of solar energy, we have developed products that are characterized by outstanding precision, efficiency and quality. The astronomic control of our solar power systems was developed in an exclusive cooperation with SMA Solar Technology AG, and ensures optimum alignment of the solar generators all day long. The rotation of the systems is based on a process perfected by nature over thousands of years: the movement of sunflowers to face the sun.

The high-precision tracking systems enable stable and reliable solar power output that outstrips that of fixed installations by up to 45%. This efficiency is increased even more through multi-use: the space beneath the solar power systems can also be used to grow crops, for parking, for rearing livestock or to create a natural habitat, for example.

sonnen_systeme Projektgesellschaft mbH offers direct sales to system partners as well as complete turnkey solutions for solar parks. Numerous photovoltaic power stations on four continents are already operating with the company's premium systems.

The firm is part of the Kirchner Solar Group. The Group has over 200 employees at a total of six locations in Germany, Italy, Belgium and the USA, and generated revenues of around €100 million in the last financial year.
